Hi Miriam,
What if I want to sell an art paint, do I must be somewhere registered?
And how I am paying the tax if I am selling paintings?
Please can you explain a little bit that process?
Thank you so muchReply

Hi there Stan,
Yes – you will need to be registered with the Finanzamt in Düsseldorf. You can figure out which Finanzamt you need to register with using this link: https://ias.fin-nrw.de/ddvs/auskunft.faces.
You will pay taxes if you make more than a certain amount per year – depends on what tax bracket you are in (Steuerklasse 1 – 6). A certain amount is tax-free.
You can find more information about taxes here on our website: https://lifeinduesseldorf.com/category/living/taxes/
All the best,
Jenna
