Is the infernal axe worth using? ›

Assembling an infernal axe will grant you 350 Firemaking xp and 200 Woodcutting xp. Chopping trees with the infernal axe will grant a 1/3 chance the logs will be burnt as they are chopped. This will give 50% of the Firemaking experience that would usually be gained by using a tinderbox to burn the logs.

The infernal axe is able to burn 5,000 logs before degrading. When fully degraded, the infernal axe behaves the same as a dragon axe, including its special attack. The axe's remaining charges can be checked via its right-click menu, and will be displayed as a percentage in the chat window.

A smouldering stone is a stone dropped by Cerberus and much more rarely, hellhounds. It can be used to upgrade the dragon axe, dragon harpoon, and dragon pickaxe into the infernal axe, infernal harpoon, and infernal pickaxe, respectively.

The Infernal pickaxe possesses the same special attack as the Dragon pickaxe, in which it boosts a player's Mining level by 3 and requires 100% special to use.

The dragon axe is the second strongest and fastest axe in the game after its direct upgrade, the crystal axe, and is tied with the 3rd age axe. It is 10% more efficient at chopping logs than the rune axe. Like all axes, it is both a weapon (requiring 60 Attack to wield) and a tool (requiring 61 Woodcutting to use).

As of 1 August 2024, there are 95,574 current members that have obtained an infernal cape. If the player dies below level 20 Wilderness, it will remain in the player's inventory; however, the item will be unusable and must be repaired by using it on Perdu and paying him 225,000.

The dragon thrownaxe has a special attack, Momentum Throw, which consumes 25% of the player's special attack energy. It improves the player's accuracy by 25% along with guaranteeing that the player will attack on the next game tick.

The Axe Talisman will increase the damage of all charged attacks by 10%. This does not include any attacks where the character charged forward, but instead increases the damage of any attack that you hold down R2 to perform.

As with all axes, the rune axe can be used for that purpose even when it is not wielded but merely carried in the player's inventory. The success rate for getting a set of logs is approximately 350% that of a bronze axe, or 17% better than an adamant axe.

The hourly rate of using the scythe is 850,440 coins. The fully charged scythe will last for 16.66 hours of continuous combat before reverting to its uncharged form.

What does a felling axe do in OSRs? ›

Felling axes are tools used in the Woodcutting skill. When used with forester's rations in their inventory or inside their forestry kit they offer 10% more Woodcutting experience than regular axes while also having a 20% chance to not obtain a log. This effect will also apply to sulliusceps.

The dragon felling axe has a special attack, Lumber Up that it shares with the dragon axe and its variants. It provides a visible +3 boost to Woodcutting (meaning that from level 72-75 Woodcutting, you can use the special attack to obtain magic logs from a magic tree).

At maximum efficiency, it is possible to gain up to around 255,000 experience per hour at level 99 when using the crystal felling axe. Because the method is difficult and click-intensive, players are more likely to see rates closer to 230,000–240,000 experience per hour.

The crystal felling axe degrades like all crystal equipment, with one charge being depleted for each item that is chopped using it; once the axe's charges have been fully depleted, it can still be used to cut wood, but will act like a dragon felling axe.

1 Wuuthrad

The king of all battleaxes is easily Wuuthrad, Ysgramor's signature weapon. Dealing 25 damage per swing, this ancient Nordic blade also has a 1.2x damage multiplier against Altmer, Bosmer, Dunmer, and Falmer.
